Each year, the Chinese government makes adjustments to the tariff codes and import/export interim tariff duty. Those policy changes usually reflect the government's intention to balance the economy and they bring both opportunities and challenges for certain industries.
* Did you receive a timely update of tariff policy change in 2014?
* Do you understand the government’s motivation to make changes on tariff policy?
* Do you know how every change is going to affect your company's import and export business?
On December 12, the Customs Tariff Commission of China’s State Council released the “2015 Tariff Implementation Plan,” which adjusts import and export tariffs levied on certain goods and implements temporary duty rates for products including manufacturing equipment and accessories for certain devices and machines. All those changes are set to boost imports and meet domestic demand.
The Logistics Plus⊕series invites you to join Ms Susan Ju, the Partner of Worldtrade Management Services (WMS) from PwC Beijing, for a discussion on the implications of the 2015 Tariff Implementation Plan. Susan will share with you her insights on the policy changes and explain the potential impacts on your business. The presentation also features a case study on risk control, tax saving and global compliance.
