Starting from January 2015 new "Handling Procedures for Foreigners entering China for the Accomplishment of Short-term Work Assignments" are implemented on a trial basis. They allow foreigners to work for certain short assignments (in general less than 90 days) based on an M-/F- (business) or Z-type visa. This might also be a legal solution for some foreign interns in China.
The European Chamber together with the German Chamber is delighted to invite you to a seminar that will provide information about the latest developments.
The speaker, Mr. Ralph Koppitz, will cover the following topics:
General immigration related regulations for foreigners
- Visa types
- Employment, work and residence permits and how they are obtained
New options for short-term work assignments for foreigners in China under trial regulations effective since Jan. 1, 2015
- Which short term work assignments may now be legally carried out under M- and F-visa (without additional formalities)?
- Which short term work assignments still require a Z-visa?
- What new options are now available regarding trainees?
