Regardless of country of origin, plenty of smart and talented executives fail spectacularly when put into global roles. More and more Managers in China are required to take on some level of international interaction and responsibility or move into global roles much earlier in their career. Consequently identifying leaders with a global mindset and investing in their development is key.
This interactive workshop is targeted to Managers and Leaders who have or will have some level of international interaction and responsibility. We will share some useful models as well as examples from several organizations to answer the following questions:
- What are the key capabilities required for successful global leadership?
- Where are you currently in terms of your global leadership capabilities?
- What are the most effective and efficient ways to develop your global mindset and capability as a global leader?

Ms. Elisa Mallis is a Head of Executive Coaching at MDS, where she leads a team of 30 highly qualified Executive Coaches to deliver world class leadership development and executive coaching solutions. Prior to MDS, Elisa spent 10 years at Accenture, working as a Management Consultant in the areas of human capital strategy, talent management, coaching and leadership effectiveness. Elisa is also the Chair of the HR Forum for the European Chamber of Commerce in Beijing. She has also worked and lived in 16 different countries, has a Master of Education in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Organizational Psychology, both from Columbia University.
