The Nanjing Chapter of the European Union Chamber is delighted to invite you to attend the Nanjing International Women's Leadership Forum and learn from the expert on how to work in the multi-culture team. This seminar will explore how culture can affect what happens in multicultural situations, and recommends a range of strategies that will help participants build rapport in culturally diverse environments and workplaces.
By the end of the session participants will be better able to
• understand the complex influences that make up cultural identity
• use greater awareness of self and others to better understand the different perspectives present in multicultural situations
• identify how their behaviour may help or hinder them in building rapport in multicultural and global contexts
About Speaker:
Catherine Bosquet – Teacher
Catherine lived and worked in Europe before coming to Nanjing. She passed her Cambridge University certificate for English language teaching in 2000 and has been teaching English for 17 years. She taught business English and IELTS preparation for 10 years to international students at a French business school. She has also taught English and business skills to corporate clients in France, Italy and Portugal. Before starting her teaching career she was a buyer for Marks & Spencer, based in London and Hong Kong.
