Food safety has been an ongoing concern in China for many years. In 2015, China amended its Food Safety Law to strengthen its regulatory efforts. Among other changes, Article 62 of the Food Safety Law stipulates Online Platforms that trade food to (i) register the real contact information of its food traders, (ii) check the food operation licenses of its food traders, and (iii) report illegal activities.
多年以来，食品安全一直是人们关心的问题。为了加强食品安全监管力度，中国政府于2015年修订了《食品安全法》。在众多变化中，《食安法》第62条规定了网络食品交易第三方平台提供者（1）应当对入网食品经营者进行实名登记，（2）查验其食品经营许可证，以及（3）向相关政府部门举报违法行为。
To further strengthen the investigation and punishment, on 13 July 2016, China Food and Drug Administration (CFDA) issued the detailed rules concerning online food safety - Measures for the Investigation and Punishment of Illegal Acts concerning Online Food Safety (“Measures”). The Measures came into effect on 1 October 2016.
为了进一步加强对违法行为的查处，国家食品药品监督管理总局于2016年7月13日，发布了有关网络食品安全的细则 ——《网络食品安全违法行为查处办法》。《查处办法》已于2016年10 月1日起施行。
It will impose new obligations on both third-party online platform providers and food traders. While the increase in food safety standards will be welcomed, some operators will need to upgrade significantly to stay in business.
《查处办法》对第三方平台提供者和食品贸易商提出了新的要求。尽管两者对食品安全标准的不断提升表示欢迎，有些运营商需要对某些方面进行调整升级，以保持业务的平稳运营。
