The 2nd GNSS & LBS Annual Conference and Exhibition, hosted by the GNSS and LBS Association of China (GLAC) will be held on September 24th to 25th 2013 in Beijing, China. The annual Conference and Exhibition is one of the largest events in GNSS and LBS industry in China. The conference theme is “Applying BeiDou Navigation Satellite System, Showing China’s Contribution”.
On September 24, in the plenary session there will be keynote speakers from government, academia, research institutes and industry to introduce governmental policy, front edge technology, new applied technology and solutions in navigation, positioning and timing, GIS, mapping, location based service etc. About 15 technical forums will take place on September 25, specifically discussing applications of BeiDou system, precise applications, telematics, smart cities, disaster prevention, environment monitoring, timing service, LBS, positioning, mobile internet, investment, industrial park.
The two-day-exhibition will attract around 100 companies to show their latest solutions, products and technologies. Exhibits will include chipsets, modules, car-borne navigation devices, portable navigation devices, electronic navigation maps, geographic data collectors, vehicle management system, telematics system, journey recorders, web-map service, maritime ships monitoring system and surveying equipments such as total station, GPS/BeiDou receivers, vehicle-borne mobile modeling and surveying system.
The Conference and Exhibition is a window to understand the GNSS and LBS industry of China, a platform to exchange, and a door to cooperate among the industry companies.
