IPR Working Group Meeting

We are delighted to welcome Paul Ranjard, Chairman of the European Chamber IPR WG in Beijing to join us here in Shanghai. Mr. Ranjard took part in the first EU-China IP Working Group meeting which took place at MOFCOM on Tuesday the 18th of October, bringing together Chinese officials from a range of ministries linked to IPR, EU IPR experts and European industry representatives. The IP Working Group is part of the IP dialogue between the EU and China, and is one of approximately 20 sectoral dialogues aimed at disseminating knowledge and promoting shared interest.
The Agenda for the meeting shall be the following:
1. Preliminary results of the EU-China Comparative Study on IPR enforcement
2. Brussels Circuit: Presentation of IPR Position Paper to senior EU officials
3. Briefing on the first round of meetings at the EU-China IPR-Dialogue on October 18th
4. Action Plan for the IPR WGs for 2005/2006
