This visit confirms the different intensive regulatory dialogues that exist between DG Internal Market and Services and relevant authorities in China on a broad range of issues of common interest. It builds on an excellent first year of cooperation in financial services and markets, corporate governance, accounting, and horizontal internal market policies like intellectual property protection and public procurement. The opportunities for enhanced cooperation in regulatory matters in an environment of intensifying EU-China relations in a globalising world will be the underlying theme.
