Staff retention remains a major concern for companies operating in China. Companies are increasingly facing difficulties in retaining staff as more companies enter the market offering compatible, if not better, benefits and as poaching becomes a popular exercise. Shortage of top quality staff enhances the problem, and studies suggest that less than 10% of Chinese job candidates have the appropriate skills required by companies with global operations and ambitions. High staff turnover not only disrupts business but also dramatically increases company costs. So what can you do? The European Chamber of Commerce is pleased to welcome you to a Human Resources Working Group Seminar that will take place on the 26th of September, 9:30 - 11:30 am, at the European Chamber Tianjin Office.
