The long-awaited, revised Standardisation Law was promulgated by the National People’s Congress on 4 November, 2017, bringing significant changes to the previous standardisation system. This is a fundamental piece of legislation that will impact a wide range of sectors. Throughout the drafting process, the European Chamber actively participated in relevant consultations and provided revision suggestions.
With the revised Law now scheduled to take effect as of 1 January, 2018, in order to help you better understand its implications, we are pleased to invite you to the next joint working group meeting, featuring Deputy Director General Wei Hong from the Standardisation Administration of China (SAC) 国家标准委综合业务部副主任魏宏.
