Back in September 2016, in response to the initiative of China Manufacturing 2025 and the development of circular economy, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) released the Notice on Establishment of Green Manufacturing System, followed by the Guidelines on the Establishment of Standard System for Green Manufacturing jointly published by the MIIT and the Standardization Administration of China (SAC), focusing on green factories, green products, green industrial parks and green supply chain.
The European Chamber has been following the implementation of this policy and actively participated in the public consultation on the draft of General Principles for Assessment of Green Plant in April 2017. Attached you may find the submitted comments to MIIT by the Chamber.
