The European Chamber Tianjin Chapter is delighted to invite you to this tour heading to Tianjin Economic-Technological Development Area (TEDA), follow us to visit Volkswagen and West Zone of TEDA.

Volkswagen is a wholly owned subsidiary of Volkswagen (China) Investment Co. and thus belongs to the Volkswagen Group in China. The company is a driving force for the development of the automobile industry and contributes to the sustainable growth and success of the component production by setting new standards and introducing innovative high-end technologies to the automobile industry in China. During the plant tour you will get an insight into the production process, construction highlights as well as the administrative areas and get the opportunity to discuss questions directly with representatives of the company.

West Zone of TEDA TEDA was established on December 6, 1984 with the approval of the State Council of the People's Republic of China, it is one of the first state-class economic-technological development areas in the country. TEDA West is the extension of TEDA - geographic extension, industrial extension, management & service extension as well. It's the sparkling star for both economic growth and investment promotion in TEDA's future development featuring at automotive, machinery and bio-technology, etc., besides the famous European companies Volkswagen and Vestas, KennaMetal from US, KUMHO from South Korea and Aisin Auto Transmission from Japan are also locating in this area.
泰达西区 - 天津经济技术开发区（泰达）于1984年12月6日经国务院批准建立，是国内首批国家级经济技术开发区之一。泰达西区是天津经济技术开发区地理上的延伸，同时也是产业的延伸，管理和服务的延伸。泰达西区在汽车，机械制造和生物医药等产业发展方面已经成为带动开发区未来经济增长和招商引资一颗耀眼的新星。园区内不仅有欧洲著名企业大众汽车和维斯塔斯风电，更聚集着美国的肯纳金属，韩国的锦湖轮胎以及日本爱信自动变速器等企业。
