During this meeting the Environmental Protection Bureau introduced three current main environmental priorities: green buildings, green hotels, and eco-schools programs. The Bureau also introduced the codes of green construction, measures of air pollution control and issues of environmental protection within Macao. According to the Environmental Protection Bureau, in the future Macao will be interested in cooperation with companies offering environmental friendly construction materials and solutions.
This meeting concluded with the handover of European Business in China Position Paper 2014/2015 by Mr. Fallight Xu, Chair of the Environment Working Group to Ms. Vongman Huang, Deputy Director of Macao Environmental Protection Bureau.
