Job description
The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) has been entrusted with the implementation of an EU funded programme in the China and it is currently looking for services providers to reinforce the project management team which, in close cooperation with the Chinese MOFCOM and the EU Delegation to Beijing (trade sector), will implement activities organised around the following clusters:
• Improve the IPR situation in the priority areas defined during the annual EU China IP Dialogue
• Enhance the understanding and trust between EU and China IPR stakeholders through regular exchange activities
• Support the EU-China IP Working Groups
• Modernize the Chinese IP administration and enforcement practices and tools
• Raise awareness on the importance of Intellectual Property, its protection and enforcement
EUIPO is looking for two activity coordinators (for 880 working/days each), with a strong background in IP, to reinforce the On-site Action Management team in Beijing that will be supported by the Central Team in Alicante (Spain).
Skills & experience
The candidates should be able to work in English, have experience in Intellectual Property Rights and knowledge of the stakeholders in China, they should also have previous experience in the implementation of international cooperation projects and professional experience related to the organisation of activities and/or events.
