The European Chamber Healthcare Equipment Working Group consists of 79 member companies delivering indispensable life-saving and diseasereducing diagnostic and therapeutic technologies. The working group members maintain this commitment by investing in modern Chinese research and production facilities as well as in the education of Chinese doctors and healthcare professionals. To enhance international cooperation, the working group has established contacts with the European Coordination Committee of the Radiological, Electro-medical, and European Coordination Committee of the Radiological, Electromedical and Healthcare IT Industry (COCIR), a major medical technology industry association based in Europe since 2007. In March 2014, the European Chamber founded the Medical Consumable Advisory Committee with 12 medical consumable companies under the support of their branches in China to facilitate
the development of medical consumable industry.
