European Chamber dinner with Commissioner Reding
On January 16th the European Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai hold a dinner with Mrs. Reding, Commissioner for Information Society and Media.
The dinner was a lively exchange of views from representatives of several industries, in particular software, telecommunications and media. Commissioner Reding enthusiastically provided insights on her experience and the related activities of the Commission in Brussels. She was likewise glad to receive rich contributions and feedbacks from representatives of European industries operating in China. The event resulted in a mutually beneficial debate where both European officials and local businessmen gained a better understanding of the current business situation as well as of future opportunities and projects.
