AA WG Vice Chair Met with EU member States Counselors
Kevin WU, Vice Chair of AA WG was invited by the EU Delegation to join the EU monthly counselors meeting. Kevin introduce AA working group and the key advocacy plan and the WG position paper 2021-2022 to the counselors of Member States’ embassies.

On 21st April, Dr Ioana Kraft, General Manager of the European Chamber Shanghai Chapter met with Mr Gao Yueming, Deputy Director-General of Harbin Foreign Affairs Office. Dr Kraft introduced the European Chamber, and brought forward the issue in adjustment in the individual income tax, as well as return of members and their family to China during COVID outbreaks. Mr Gao introduced Harbin's investment environment and welcomed Dr Kraft and the European Chamber's members to pay a visit to Harbin. The two sides concluded the meeting agreeing to keep in touch for future cooperation.

On 15th April, European Chamber Vice President and Chairman of the Shanghai Board Carlo D'Andrea spoke at the China International Technology Fair opening round table dialogue chaired by the former China Chief negotiator for the WTO Mr. Long Yongtu. Together on the panel were Mr Zhou Hanmin, vice chairman of the Shanghai Municipal Political Consultative Conference and vice chairman of the China Democratic National Construction Association, Huo Jianguo, Vice President of China World Trade Organization Research Association and Zhang Jun, Dean of School of Economics, Fudan University. During the dialogue Carlo discussed the importance of continuing the multilateral dialogues and the timely ratification of the CAI.
