Meeting with State Administration for Market Regulation

On 19^th January 2024, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in China participated a roundtable discussion on continuously optimizing business environment and facilitating high quality development at the State Administration of Market Regulation (SAMR). The European Chamber presented issues matter to member companies and provided pragmatic recommendations at the meeting. The issues raised at the meeting covered company registration, product manuals, change of registered software upgrading, origin tracking management, company fillings, implementation of the Measures for the Promotion of Enterprise Standardisation and the Provisions on the Supervision and Administration of the Implementation of Main Responsibility for Food Safety by Enterprises. The European Chamber also provided comments on Measures for the Administration of Food Production Licensing, which is still at the stage of call for comments. All the issues were well received by the SAMR. The European Chamber will continue to work closely with SAMR on the issues raised at the meeting.
