Meeting with Vice Governor of Hainan Province

Led by President Joerg Wuttke, a European Chamber delegation composed of senior representatives of more than 30 member companies from the Healthcare Equipment, the Pharmaceutical, the Food for Special Medical Purpose, the Information and Communication Technology, the Energy and the Rail working groups, visited Hainan Province from 23rd to 25th September.

The delegation met Vice Governor of Hainan Province Shen Danyang on 23rd September together with Hainan Provincial officials from the Hainan Medical Products Administration, the Hainan Administration for Market Regulation, the Hainan Health Commission, the Department of Commerce of Hainan Province and the Lecheng Pilot Zone Administration. They discussed the latest policy updates on the Hainan free trade port and European companies’ future development in Hainan. Three closed-door working-level sessions were separately held to discuss extensively on industrial issues. Diverse activities such as field trip to Lecheng International Medical Tourism Pilot Zone and Haikou High-tech Park were also organised to have a glimpse of the Hainan’s development.
