Meeting with MOFCOM on Circular No. 5 and Circular No. 39

Led by Secretary General Adam Dunnett, the Chamber had a meeting with Deputy Director General Ye Wei of the Foreign Investment Administration of MOFCOM on Circular No. 5 and Circular No. 39. DDG Ye firstly briefed the Chamber on  the importance and implementation of both documents. The Chamber raised questions on such issues as the time table and roadmap for the opening of certain sectors, the coordination among different ministries,  local implementation, the follow-up policies and the implementation of the negative list, etc. DDG Ye responded to these questions and said that relevant ministries are carrying out the implementation in due course. The time table and the road map will be released in succession. At the end of the meeting, Adam briefed DDG Ye on the Shenyang Chapter and their recent release of the Shenyang Position Paper.
