On 8th November 2019, Energy Working Group submitted the comments on Technical Standards on Ecological Impact, Acoustic environment, Petroleum and Natural Gas Development Projects, Civil Airport and Highway Construction to Ministry of Industry and Information.

On 13th November, European Chamber Vice President (VP) Charlotte Roule led a delegation to the China Center for International Economic Exchanges (CCIEE) to meet with its Vice Chair (VC) and CEO Zhang Xiaoqiang. The Chamber delegation included representatives from the Energy, Environment and Banking and Securities working groups, Quality and Safety Services Sub-working Group, Paediatric Nutrition Desk and Government Affairs Forum.
Meeting with Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment Department of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC)
On Nov. 7th, European Chamber Finance and Taxation Working Group representatives paid a visit to the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) and received by Director YUAN Feng of the Foreign Capital & Overseas Investment Department.

On 1st November 2019, the European Chamber Human Resources Working Group and Forum representatives met with officials in Beijing from the National Immigration Administration (NIA) and the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, Exit-Entry Administration Department to discuss a number of difficulties European companies are currently facing in China regarding foreign talent attraction due to entrance and settlement issues.

On 31st Oct. afternoon, European Chamber Vice President Charlotte Roule led European Chamber representatives visited the National Energy Administration (NEA). The European Chamber delegation was received by Vice Administrator Li Fanrong and representatives from relevant departments at the NEA.
