As Chinese market opens to foreign investors and industries, the human relationship between China and the rest of the world is meant to be more and more intense. Those relationships are a diamond for the growth of the activity. How to make sure our cultures serve the business?

Speaker:
Bernard Ganne, labor sociologist and Emeritus Research Director at the CNRS, offers lectures, or master classes around intercultural issues at work in China. Its operations are based on a selection of case studies filmed in companies in Asia between 2000 and 2010. His observations were collected in 2013 on a DVD "Working face to face in Asia: Crossed visions". Each of these filmed situations are then the subject of a discussion and a commentary crossover between the author, French labor sociologist, and Professor WU Hongmiao, Chinese linguist, French professor at Wuhan University, expert on interculturalism. This DVD is a unique educational tool, revealing the interplay of cultures at work and allowing a precise analyze. It provides valuable key to approach intercultural work in China or how to point out these differences in order to better take advantage of the synergies.
