International media and investors are often very critical of China. However, the quiet ones all see long term themes in China with big potential returns and opportunities. Come here the top 3 that are in focus.
1. The explosion in Chinese corporate champions. They will compete with the west on the international stage. Watch out.
2. How will China prevent inequality and social tensions? By copying Asia. Public housing and credit cards to the rescue.
3. The wall of money heading to China as large as the world’s biggest market: US Treasury market. Bond traders would be a good career in China.
The European Chamber is delighted to welcome Mr Sean Yokota, SEB Head of Asia, strategy, to present the Top 3 China Macro Themes on the minds of international investors.
