Volunteerism is one of the most common approaches that corporations employ to weave “Community Engagement” into their CSR efforts. With rapid CSR development in China, more and more companies have come to realize that employee volunteers are perhaps the greatest asset they can leverage when trying to have a positive impact in the communities where they operate business.
*The societal benefits of corporate volunteering are clear, but can business reap the rewards too?
*For companies which just started the CSR program, how can they plan and implement a corporate volunteer program?
*How can employees get involved in programs?
*What challenges might need to be overcome?

About CSR Practitioner Retreat Series
In 2015, the CSR Forum embraces its 10th birthday. To mark this milestone anniversary, the Forum in Beijing is happy to announce the launch of “CSR Practitioner Retreat”, a roundtable series which aims at offering the opportunity for CSR professionals to step back from their day-to-day work and invest time in strategic skills development through best practices sharing.
Participants benefit from peer-to-peer learning among CSR professionals from a variety of organizations including MNCs, SMEs, think tanks and non-profits.
The topics of “CSR Practitioner Retreat” series are very practical and center mainly around on-the-ground sustainability practices that CSR practitioners have to deal with during their day-to-day work.
