The European Chamber Energy Working Group has recently received an exclusive invitation from the China Electric Power Planning and Engineering Institute (EPPEI) to join the China-Europe Energy Innovation Cooperation Work Streams (中欧能源技术创新合作专项领域). EPPEI is in the process of establishing four Work Streams (working groups) in the following areas: Smart Energy, Hydrogen Energy, Wind Energy and Energy Storage. The objective of these Work Streams would be for European and Chinese companies to discuss the latest energy cooperation opportunities and activities.
Given its past cooperation with EPPEI (China-Europe Energy Technology Innovation Cooperation Forum 中欧能源技术创新合作), the European Chamber would like to organise a Working Group Meeting to share this news, clarify the background and objectives of this initiative, analyse the opportunities for member companies and potential risks involved, the role of a lead unit of each Work Stream (专项领域牵头单位), the management of the scheme, etc. The discussion will be led by Mr Zhonghua Xu, national chair of Energy Working Group. Please note that the European Chamber is only acting as an intermediary, and will not be directly involved in the work of any of these Work Streams.
The meeting will take place on Friday, 16th April, 11:00 to 12:00 at the European Chamber’s Beijing office, as well as online via Zoom. If you are interested, please register here or send an email to sxu@europeanchamber.com.cn indicating if you are joining online or in-person, before 16th April COB.
