Introduction
European Chamber released this year’s Business Confidence Survey in June, which highlights an emerging contradiction: China’s increasingly sophisticated economy stands in stark contrast to its highly burdensome regulatory environment. In July, European Chamber published a new major report analysing the progress and shortcomings of China’s reform agenda since President Xi Jinping spoke at the World Economic Forum in Davos in early 2017. Both of the reports serve important roles to help European business owners to understand the latest policies regarding the further opening and reform, as well as the stance of European business on those policies.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of reform and opening-up. We would also like to bring European Business investors together to discuss how China reform across a wide variety of industries on the 40 years of Journey and to exchange opinions on where tangible results have been seen by European companies in China, as well as to outlook the future of Chinese economic rise and the development of foreign Investment in China.
Therefore, European Chamber is delighted to invite you to the launch of the European Business in China – Business Confidence Survey a 2018 and 18 Months since Davos-How China’s vision became a reform imperative, on 23rd August 2018 (Thursday), in Jin Bar, 5F, Shangri-La Hotel Nanjing.
