Recently, major legislative changes have taken place in both EU and China which impacted businesses globally. One is the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EUGDPR) effective from May 25th which marked the most important change in data privacy regulation field in recent 20 years. Any enterprises who have business connections with EU enterprises or get involved with data storage, data dealing, and data exchange of EU citizens must to comply with GDPR. The other is the China’s Personal Information Protection Specification which took effect on May 1st providing the first concrete guidelines on the data protection provisions outlined under China’s ambitious Cybersecurity Law.
近来，两大重要的法规/规范相继在欧盟和中国生效。其一是《欧盟通用数据保护条例》（GDPR）从2018年5月25日起强制执行。无论你是法人或自然人，不论公司规模大小，公司是否在欧盟境内，只要直接或间接地与欧盟企业发生业务往来，或涉及存储、处理、交换任何欧盟公民的数据，都必须要及时调整，以符合GDPR的规范和要求。其二则是在2018年5月1日生效的《个人信息安全规范》，这是自中国网络安全法出台以来首个具有指导意义的文件。
Now companies with global operations are now confronted with the challenge of meeting the requirements of two sets of equally comprehensive rules. Jason has more than 20 years IT industry experiences covering IT application, infrastructure and IT security. Before joining NNIT, Jason worked in Motorola and OTIS Elevators with various management positions.
