Frank is a partner at PwC's regional Customs & International Trade practice and is based in Shanghai. Prior to joining PwC, Frank was the former official of Shanghai Customs responsible for legal affairs. He has worked in multiple divisions of Shanghai Customs, including the Legal and Policy Division and subordinate port customs for a total of 10 years. During his time in Shanghai Customs, Frank provided legal advice and operation opinion, managed numerous cases and delivered training for the officials. Since joining PwC in 2011, Frank has worked extensively with multinational and Fortune 500 companies in providing customs and trade advisory services in respect of customs valuation, tariff classification, Free Trade Agreement, origin, market access feasibility research, regional distribution center set-up and location studies, processing trade, bonded warehouse management, duty-exemption equipment, Customs audit and investigation defense etc. His industry experience covers pharmaceutical, medical device, automotive, industrial manufacturing, chemicals, high technology, electronics, mining, retail and consumer, and other industries. Frank is now a regular speaker and panelist at customs and international trade events run by professional associations and institutes and has delivered presentations on various customs and trade topics. Frank obtained a Master of Law, majoring in International Economics Law. He also obtained the China National Bar Certificate and had been acting as a government lawyer for 8 years.

Max is a Manager at PwC’s regional Customs & International Trade practice and is based in Shanghai. He is a former Customs official with over 16 years of experience in the field of customs and international trade. Max is proficient in tariff classification, valuation, duty exemption, origin, and skillful in declaration & clearance, bonded supervision, customs investigation and defence, CIQ related affairs, etc. During the time of Customs, he was mainly responsible for the administration of commodity classification, customs testing, and duty-exemption equipment ; the stipulation of relative regulations; Also, he has been invited by GAC to participate in lots of programs in relation to regulation revision and pilot studies, and promote nationwide integration of customs clearance, etc.
叶茂标先生是普华永道海关及国际贸易服务部的经理，在上海办公。 他曾在南京海关工作16年，具备丰富的海关与国际贸易领域工作经验。叶茂标先生精通归类、审价、减免税、原产地等关税业务，熟悉通关管理、保税监管及海关稽核查等业务操作。在海关工作期间，他主要负责减免税设备及海关归类化验管理工作，相关规程及机制设定,海关总署邀请参与大量法规修订工作和改革项目的试点研究，参与建设全国通关一体化改革配套项目等重点改革任务.

Yolanda is a Tax Partner of PwC China, Shanghai Office. She is specialized in indirect tax area with more than 13 years of experience.

Since China VAT reform in year 2012, Yolanda is focusing on building efficient indirect tax function for clients, which includes but not limited to the strategic VAT function design and implementation, VAT SOPs set-up and improvement, VAT modelling analysis by including international trade, etc.

Digitalizing the VAT process is also one of her expertise. Yolanda leads various invoice and VAT automation projects in China. These projects support finance and tax departments in streamlining their process and improve the tax data analytics capability. Clients covers various industries, e.g. traditional manufacturing/trading companies, high-tech companies, retail & consumer companies, pharmaceutical and chemical companies and all the group companies with shared service centre.

She is also involved in various VAT defence and negotiation projects. She was involved in one of the important VAT ruling application for catering industry.

Yolanda has a Bachelor Degree (International Accounting) from the Shanghai University of Finance and Economics in 2005. She is a member of the Fellowship of Chartered Certified Accountants (‘FCCA') and a member of the Chinese Institute of Tax Agents.

吕韵璐女士就职于普华永道咨询(深圳)有限公司上海分公司，是税务部合伙人。她在税务及商务咨询领域，特别在流转税方面，有超过12年的工作经验。吕女士在过往的工作中，参与了众多流转税咨询和实施项目。项目类型包括但不限于：增值税转型调研，增值税健康检查，增值税内控评估及提升，贸易进出口增值税相关效率及模型分析，为共享服务中心提供增值税功能设计及实施等。吕女士也在流转税争议解决和协商方面为客户提供增值服务。在2016年营改增全面推行之际，吕女士协助餐饮行业客户对政策的具体解读向各级税务机关及国税总局反馈，并收到了显著的成效。在接触过的行业方面，吕女士服务于传统制造及贸易公司及集团企业，高科技公司，零售消费品行业，外国承包工程项目，汽车及制药业等。吕女士2005年毕业于上海财经大学国际会计系，她拥有FCCA和TA双资格。

陈铭智女士于2006年加入普华永道咨询(深圳)有限公司上海分公司税务部，是中国税务及商务咨询部高级经理，具有超过11年为国际、国内客户提供税务及商务咨询的经验。自2008年开始作为增值税专业服务组成员，向不同行业客户提供包括增值税筹划、税务风险控制、增值税合规健康检查、营改增转型应对、专题培训等。另外，陈女士还参与了众多增值税管理系统、增值税集中化管理流程优化项目。涉及的行业方面，包括生产制造业、交通运输和物流、房地产和建筑业、医药、高科技、快速消费品等等。陈女士是中国注册会计师协会的会员。

Michaela Chen joined Tax Department of PwC China, Shanghai office in 2006. She is a senior tax manager and has more than 11 years of experience in providing tax and business consulting services to international and domestic clients. Since 2008, she has been a member of Indirect Tax Group and has provided clients in different industries with VAT planning, indirect tax risk control, VAT compliance health check, and business tax transition into VAT reform support and workshop. In addition, Michaela also participated in many VAT management system and VAT centralization process consulting projects. The industries involved include manufacturing, transportation and logistics, real estate and construction, pharmaceutical, TMT, FMCG, etc. Michaela is a member of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
