Both the EU and US are negotiating Bilateral Investment Treaties with China. This is happening at a time when China is trying to move up the innovation ladder to accelerate growth and also expanding its outward flows of direct investment. The result is heightened tensions about technology issues and IPR theft. How should one interpret the factors driving investment relations between China and the EU/US and its implications for both sides?
The European Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to this exclusive seminar with Dr. Yukon Huang, senior associate at the Carnegie Endowment in Washington D.C. and former World Bank’s Country Director for China, who will share his view on China’s foreign investment relations and IPR tensions with the West.
