The European Chamber, together with the China Academy for Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) and the Seconded European Standardization Expert for China (SESEC), invites you to the first in a series of exchanges exploring on digital policy and standardisation efforts in both Europe and China. This first meeting will focus on AI policy and standardisation, and it will take place offline in Beijing on 10th April 2024 from 15:00 to 17:00. Joining the discussion offline to discuss the topic from a variety of angles will be Ms Margot Dor, Director of Government Affairs at ETSI, Wu Tongning, Deputy Director of the Institute of Artificial Intelligence Research Center at the CAICT, Maggie Yin, Vice President of Government Affairs at RELX, and Michael Chang, Chair of the ICT Working Group at the European Chamber.

The EU SME Centre and the European Union Chamber of Commerce are pleased to welcome you to join our Inter-Chamber SME Working Group, SME Forum, Legal and Competition, Intellectual Property Rights joint Working Group Meeting. In this meeting, Mr. Michael Tan from Taylor Wessing and Mr. Kyle Freeman from Dezan Shira will discuss the implications of the newly issued E-Commerce Law, as well as the opportunities European businesses and more concretely SMEs can find by embracing an e-commerce model in China. This meeting will take place at the European Chamber Beijing and Shanghai offices on the 30th November from 13:30 to 15:30.
