This advice extends to how companies should respond if an employee brings forward accusations of misconduct or how they should react if they are subject to a dawn raid by authorities.

After the implementation of IATF 16949 in October 2016 China’s Auto Industry needs to update its quality management systems. Since China is holding more than 43% of all ISO/TS 16949 Certificates, it is the biggest market for Auto Quality Management System Certification and quality is the key for the success of the Chinese Automotive Industry. On 25 December 2016, the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress adopted China’s first Environmental Protection Tax Law (the Law). The Law is poised to replace the existing pollutant discharge fee system with a pollution tax as the main economic tool regulating environmental pollution by businesses in China. This historic development is expected to have sweeping impacts on enterprises’ compliance with China’s environmental regulations.
