The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China is delighted to invite you to attend the Annual Conference 2014: Saddling up for Reforms, on 16th December, 2014, at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beijing.
The European Chamber’s Annual Conference will deliver incisive comments and opinions on China’s reform agenda from chief economists, think tanks and business experts from the EU and China in the form of interviews, panel discussions and Q&A sessions.
To open this year’s event the new Ambassador of the European Union to the People’s Republic of China and Mongolia, HE Hans Dietmar Schweisgut, will publically address the European business community in Beijing for the first time. Mr. Li Wei, Minister of the Development Research Centre (DRC) of the State Council will also deliver a keynote speech. The DRC is a comprehensive policy research and consulting institution that has carried out practical research into promoting reform and opening-up in China. Minister Li has worked extensively on matters related to state-owned enterprise reform and has helped draft major Party Central Committee and State Council documents, and formulate policy documents of ministries and commissions.
