IPR Working Group meeting
Ms Caroline EDERY, Head of Unit, and Ms. Isabelle De Stobbeleir, Policy Officer, from Unit for Protection of Citizens and Enforcement of IPR of DG Taxud will be in Shanghai on 16th October.
The main purpose of their visit to China is to discuss the extension of the EU– China Action Plan on IP Customs Enforcement, and to prepare next EU – China IPR Customs Enforcement Working Group meeting (November 5&6 in Luxemburg). They will also meet with other Chinese central and local authorities in charge of IPR enforcement (Mofcom, MPS, local customs and police).
They would like to meet with European industry therefore the European Chamber would like to take this opportunity to invite them to attend the forthcoming IPR Working Group meeting on Wednesday 16 October, 10am-12am, at the European Chamber Shanghai and Beijing offices via videoconference.
At this meeting, we will also provide an update on new Trademark Law, and debrief the several recent meetings on IPR we had with Chinese and European authorities in the last months. The European Chamber also welcomes the feedback from members to discuss the future events and lobbying priorities for the coming months.

4) Debrief EU/China IPR Dialogue of August 2013 (Elliot Papageorgiou, Acting Chairman SH IPR Working Group)

6) Open dialogue on Shanghai (China) Free Trade Zone (All)
