We are pleased to invite you to the SME Working Group’s first SME Quarterly Workshop in Beijing on 13th July 2012, 9.00am – 12pm at the European Chamber, Beijing.
At this workshop, we have the pleasure of welcoming 3 distinguished experts to share their insights and experiences on the tools and techniques that can be harnessed by SMEs to enhance their company brand and attractiveness to promote their products/services and attract the best talent in the market.
Presentations will be followed by a Q&A session and opportunities for discussion and networking.
Guest Speakers
1) Mr. Phill Lane, Senior Employer Brand Consultant at Oxus China, China’s leading employer branding agency:
‘Employer Branding for SMEs - How You Can Beat the Big Boys’:
Mr. Phill Lane will demonstrate how a strong employer brand and a compelling story will help you engage with China’s top talent, and ensure you are able to make the most of China’s business potential. The presentation will share insights on how SMEs can use effective Employer Branding to:
l Attract and retain the best talent in the face of stiff competition
l Drive down the cost of recruiting, and reduce dependence on head hunters
l Produce measurable impacts on: cost-per-hire, staff retention, internal hires
2) Mr. Li Jikun, Business Development Manager at Beijing Dehaier Medical Technology Co. Ltd, a Chinese SME medical device manufacturer
‘Benefits and Experiences from Listing on the NASDAQ Capital Market’:
Mr. Li Jikun will share insights, experiences and lessons learned from the company’s listing on the NASDAQ Capital Market, providing insight into the benefits for an SME, the steps taken, and the challenges faced.
3) Mr. Philippe Comolet Tirman, HR Consultant and Head of Beijing Office at Dragonfly Group, a consultancy specialising in Talent Acquisition and Human Resource Development in Greater China
‘From Branding to Leadership’:
Mr. Philippe Comolet Tirman will demonstrate that employer branding should not stop with the end of the recruitment process. From on boarding to long term commitment, employees require special attention to sustain their interest and trust in your company as employer. We will see how sound management and leadership can help SMEs retain and grow their talents.
