Everything is impossible but anything is possible. This defines the China Phenomenon. Many foreign entrepreneurs are attracted by the enormous potential of the China market, but conversely, they are perplexed by the complexity in China and ponder as to how they can conduct China business without suffering expensive mistakes. Even seasoned China hands can find themselves at the mercy of frustrating systems and unorthodox business practices.
With over 15 years of experience in China, and having consulted over 1000 companies, Kenneth Lam, CEO of AsianBiz introduces some of the key practical tips demonstrated in his new book.
This new practical bible covers a wealth of must-know tidbits including user-friendly factoids on administrative issues, Chinese accounting systems, tax, human resources and other areas that can pose challenges.
Key Points:
- The go ahead decision to starting in China: How to formulate your strategy and what to consider before starting a business in China?
- Getting your business started: What government policies come into play and what are the different operational models you can choose from?
- Common pitfalls to avoid in business administration: Why are there hidden caveats that so many companies miss in corporate administration, hidden ownerships, accounting, and employment?
