We are sad to announce that Mr. Frederik Kunkel has left the Rail Working Group. We would like to thank Frederik for his commitment to the European Chamber and for his immense contribution to the Rail Working Group Position Paper.
However, the Vice Chair position has become vacant and a new election has become necessary. As you may know, the Rail Working Group Chairs and Vice Chair play a crucial role in driving the Working Group which includes a leadership role in the drafting of the Position Paper, communicating key messages to the Chinese and European Government, and steering the Working Group meetings and events. The desired characteristics of a Chair and Vice Chair are a senior industry representative with relevant industry expertise and government contacts that has the time and willingness to support the group. Previous participation in the Working Group is also highly valued.
