Vice President Verheugen regrets he is no longer able to attend the launch of the Position Paper in Shanghai due to last minute unforeseen circumstances. Mr Philippe Jean, Head of the Unit International Aspects of Enterprise and Industrial Policy in the Directorate for Enterprise and Industry Policy will come to Shanghai to meet the European Members and the European Business Community instead. He will be also accompanied by officials of the European Commission to China.
