As we briefed you during the last Working Group meeting, the Chamber sent out meeting request to AQSIQ for meetings with the two Dept.'s concerning cosmetics. We are happy to inform you that AQSIQ accepted our meeting request and confirmed the meetings as above. If you are interested in joining any of these meetings, please let Maggie Xie (mxie@euccc.com.cn ) know by the deadlines indicated above. Sorry for the short notice given as we are asked to provide the attendee list tomorrow morning.
Please also kindly note that there might be a limit on the number of attendants requested by AQSIQ. Therefore, seats might be limited and registration will be done on first-come-first-serve basis.
Again, the purposes of these meetings are to get latest update on policy and hear their view before Position Paper drafting. Therefore, as you understand, seats might be given to Position Paper lead pens as a preference. Even if you are not attending the meetings in person, you are encouraged to submit your questions or issues before the meetings.
