Meeting with Karin Kneissl

Dear Energy Working Group Member,
We are pleased to invite you to an informal meeting with Dr. Karin Kneissl, freelance researcher, author and lecturer on international law from Austria, which will be held on Friday, 19th December at 9.00-10.30am at the European Chamber Office in Beijing.
Dr. Karin Kneissl is visiting Beijing from December 19th to 31st to conduct a research on China’s energy policy. During her visit, Karin is highly interested in talking to experts on China's energy sector. The meeting will start with a presentation by Karin on both European energy affairs and her findings in China, followed by discussion with the members.
Karin’s presentation will cover the following two topics:
1. The economic crisis and its impact on the transformation of the energy-mix
2. Where does OPEC stand today? Relationship between International and National Energy Companies

During the meeting, Alfred Che from Kreab Group will also spend 5 minutes to introduce a program on climate change that Kreab jointly initiated with Royal Institute of Technology (details tbc).
