The State Council has designated 25th August as the National Low-carbon Day, and the week of 25th August as the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week for 2021.
In order to let the public better understand such state strategy and present green policies for consumer-end activities and call on everyone to do our parts and take the social responsibility of reducing emission and saving energy, the European Chamber is very pleased to invite experts from the Policy Research Centre for Environment and Economy (PRCEE) of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment (MEE) to explore and introduce:
- relevant policies of public participation in environmental protection, including information disclosure, lifestyle changes, environmental protection facility management, volunteer work, among others;
- practice cases of social participation in environmental protection;
- suggestions on promoting ecological and environmental conservation;
- main focusing areas of PRCEE and work plan.
This event will be in Chinese with English simultaneous translation and open to the public for free.
The PRCEE is an institution affiliated to the MEE. The mission of PRCEE is to offer policy support for the State’s macro decision-making and management over environmental protection based on the comprehensive and strategic researches of overall importance in the fields of environmental strategy, environment policy, environmental legislation and institution, and international environmental issue.
