2021 is the first year of China's 14th Five-Year Plan, marking a significant shift from rapid growth to green growth. European businesses operating in China have set ambitious targets toward the goals of achieving peak carbon emissions and carbon neutrality. Nevertheless, China’s energy policies and markets have been constantly changing, posing huge challenges for foreign companies. Foreign investment companies are in need of clarification for such topics. The European Chamber and BIDA (Bao’an Sino-German Industrial Development Cooperation Alliance) are willing to share more information on this topic by organising this seminar to resolve their concerns.
During the meeting, green energy experts and practitioners will analyse the latest macro trends and policies on energy development, aiming at helping European companies in China compare and make informed choices among the multiple paths and measures toward their net-zero carbon goal.
The seminar will be followed by social networking for participants to meet other industry specialists, facilitating the communication between experts, BIDA and members across South China.
