On March 18th, The European Chamber in Nanjing invites members to the Headquarters of BOFTEC to participate in a platform for dialogue between Nanjing’s European Invested enterprises and representatives from the local authorities.

Input from members has indicated that an appropriate theme for this dialogue meeting will be. “Support available from Nanjing Municipal government for Nanjing’s European Invested Enterprises in the present financial situation?

We will request presence of representatives of relevant bureaus to answer questions on:

- Retrenchment

- Green Policies

- Labour Law

- Tax incentives & how they can be taken advantage of by EUCCC members.

We are in the process of gathering feedback from membership to help us invite the relevant departments. This event represents the first of several such events that will take place in 2009. To encourage in depth discussion please frame your questions within areas related to the above topics.
