Following this year's Two Sessions, additional focus and interest has been given to Hainan Province. Known for it's tourism industry and holiday atmosphere, Hainan has mostly been a vacation destination for Chinese and foreigners alike. However, realizing the natural advantages Hainan has, the Chinese Central Government wants to repurpose Hainan as a hub for trade and commerce by focusing on the island's development. Thus, it can be anticipated that Hainan will be inundated with new policies conducive to economic growth much to the benefit business owners willing to locate their business there. Joining us on 15 September from Hainan, we will be listening Eric Lin, a tax specialist from Deloitte, and Deputy Director General of Hainan Provincial Bureau of International Economic Development, Gong Qijun, who are both eager to share their insights and information to better understand the policies of the Hainan Free Trade Port.

Advisory Council Policy
Members of the Advisory Council may receive complimentary admission to Chamber seminars, conferences and factory visits up to two attendees per event. Additional participants will be charged at the member rate.
Advisory Council members will still be charged the standard member rate for participation in training courses and special events, such as gala balls, government appreciation dinners, or admission to corporate social events/tournaments.
