Dear Members of the Rail Working Group,
The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to join the Kick-off Meeting of the Rail Working Group, at 15:00-17:00 am, 24 August 2020 in the Chamber's Beijing office.
As the starting point of the Rail Working Group, this kick-off meeting will shape the working group's narrative on industrial concerns and the advocacy planning for the second half of the year of 2020. This meeting will take a closer look at the guidelines to clarify the challenges each stakeholder is facing and what are the promising directions to look into in the future.
Concerns such as the mixed ownership reform, standardisation and specification process, and rail-related preferential policies will be discussed in-depth to form a unified voice within the group. Stakeholder mapping and visit plans will be presented to seek working group members' suggestions and approval. Meanwhile, the meeting will also explore the following industrial concerns:
