The European Union Chamber of Commerce in China (European Chamber) is delighted to invite you to the launch of our Shanghai Position Paper 2018/2019 at 14:00 on Friday 2nd November 2018.
Coming ahead of the China International Import Expo (CIIE), this third edition of the Shanghai Position Paper evaluates Shanghai’s ongoing development and provides the recommendations of European business invested in the city on how Shanghai can best realise its ambition to become a global centre.
In particular, the Shanghai Position Paper will discuss the following points:
- European companies’ expectations of the China International Import Expo;
- Shanghai’s ‘five centres’ development plan, which the Shanghai Chapter sees as a plan of national importance;
- The implications of the recent opening-up in sectors such as financial services, and European business’s responses to it.
Carlo D’Andrea, vice president and chairman of the European Chamber's Shanghai Chapter, will present the Shanghai Position Paper and discuss some of the key issues it raises with other panelists.
