Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become an important pillar in many business and marketing strategies and is an integral part of the day-to-day operations for many companies. This is especially the case in China where it is even more critical for companies, both foreign and domestic, to demonstrate the positive impact that their operations have on their industry, communities and China’s development goals. Additionally, a large percentage of consumers, especially millennials, are willing to pay more to purchase from companies that are committed to making a positive social impact. The same principle can be seen when companies are evaluating potential partners, and talent are weighing up potential employers. How can companies better leverage CSR to support their business and marketing goals? What are the do’s and don’ts?
The European Chamber is delighted to invite Kiran Patel, Marketing and Communications Specialist, Joe Harvey, Co-founder at The Bulk House Zero Waste, and Peng Jilai, Partner at SynTao, to discuss the role of CSR, best practices and potential benefits. The panelists will share insights from their own experiences and refer to several case studies throughout the event.
