Dear AFB Working Group members,
The European Chamber is delighted to invite you to join the next AFB Working Group Meeting. It will take place on Monday 16 April at 2:30-4:30pm at the European Chamber Shanghai & Beijing Offices via videoconference facility.
In this meeting, Dr. Li Yu, Scientific and Regulatory Affairs Director, Asia-Pacific of Mars Wrigley Confectionery, will share with us his views on food traceability. By reviewing current practice and regulatory requirement in main markets around world, as a food industry group, Dr. Li will talk about the food traceability, including its scope, purpose, role and responsibility of different stakeholders. In addition, his presentation will touch upon the technologies that are applied to ensue food safety including traditional means, compute-based approaches, as well as block chain.
To ensure free flow of the discussion, the meeting will be held in Chinese only.
