Our world is changing rapidly, and nowhere is this happening faster than China. During times of great change, leadership is critically important. This is particularly important in environments where the pace of political and economic change is accelerating rapidly. Today’s leaders face an increasingly complex tapestry of economic, political and social challenges.
The European Chamber is delighted to welcome Dr Eveline Goodman-Hedtke (PhD. Psychology & PhD Neuroscience) as the host of an interactive and energising afternoon of cutting edge business and brain science. We have invited five leading business executives for an invigorating panel discussion: Jiangbing (James) Wang (CEO, KUKA Systems China), Arnim Rohns (General Manager China, imat-uve), Weiguo Wang (Vice President, Siemens China), and Jonathan Yan (Chairman, JW & Associates).
In this session, we will translate scientific insights into practical guidance on how top executives effectively respond to our dynamic world. Following an incisive presentation, we will enjoy a panel discussion between our expert guests, who have demonstrated unique abilities to rise to the challenge of change – and flourish.
During the panel, business experts will cover the following topics:
- What can we learn from the differences and similarities of Chinese and European Management Cultures?
- During recent years, China has witnessed a large wave of management localisation in MNCs established here. How can leaders choose a balancing point between globalisation and localisation of their workforce?
- Young Chinese firms can be uniquely innovative and proactive - how do top executives and companies activate this for business success?
- How do leading executives stay ahead of the curve, and anticipate new trends?
- What is the key to take better decisions in uncertain times?
The event will also feature an interactive question and answer session, and time for networking.
