The 19th Party Congress set forth the goals for China's reform in the next 5-10 years, in which healthcare reform remains one of the core issues. Given the positive movements we have witnessed over the past few months, what are the current situations where the healthcare reform is heading?
Mr. Thomas Butt, Boya Fellow at the China Center for Health Economic Research in Peking University, might be able to give us some hints. Thomas will discuss how China’s healthcare reforms and its epidemiological and economic transitions are likely to impact on market access and pricing of innovative medicines. He will reference global trends in pricing & reimbursement and consider which of these may be relevant to the Chinese situation.
Tentative Agenda:

14:00-14:10 Welcome remarks by Pharmaceutical Working Group Chair
14:10-15:00 Mr. Thomas Butt's presentation
