The European Chamber is organising a next Healthcare Equipment Working Group meeting at the Chamber’s office in Beijing on Friday, June 1st from 9 to 11.30 am.
The meeting will provide updates on current development and will focus on the upcoming annual Position Paper. The draft key recommendations will be circulated ahead of the meeting for your comments.
As you are all aware NDRC issued the draft Implementation Regulations of the Tender & Bidding Law and is seeking for comments until June 30th, 2007. Please find attached draft regulation for your reference. We would like to encourage all members to prepare comments (as indicated in the documents) allowing discussion during our next meeting in order to possibly submit a joint statement to NDRC.
Meeting agenda:
1. Update on latest development including:
- Product registration: Efforts of SFDA technical review board
- Price control: Debrief of recent Advamed/Eucomed meeting with NDRC & next steps
2. Consent on Position Paper recommendations and distribution of tasks (English deadline June 29)
3. Comments on regulations and input for EU Commission
- Strategy for comments on order 16 (decree 276)
- Discussion on draft Regulations of the Tender & Bidding Law
- Topics for the Regulatory Dialogue between EC and SFDA (incl. questionnaire results)
4. AOB
- BSE ban on imports
